#9 In search for dark matter
Pedro Gabriel
Supervisor(s):
It is estimated that around 27% of our Universe is made up of dark matter. But what actually is this exotic matter that we can't see? In this project, we will explore theoretical models that attempt to describe dark matter and its interaction with the rest of the particles we know and use high energy physics (HEP) tools to calculate observables that could give us some clues on how to detect this type of matter .
Requirements: Preference for 3rd year students and/or those who have completed at least Analytical Mechanics.
