Searching in the Dark

It is estimated that around 27% of our Universe is made up of dark matter. But what is actually this exotic type of matter that we can't see? In this project, we will explore theoretical models that attempt to describe dark matter and its interactions with the rest of the particles we know. We will do that using high energy physics (HEP) tools to calculate observables that could give us some clues on how to detect this type of matter.
